AND's heavy duty platform scales can be used for a variety of applications, such as: food processing, food packaging, parts counting, pharmaceuticals, paint mixing or shipping (only HV legal for trade). The HV offers triple range, allowing for 3 resolutions that change automatically with a change in capacity and the HW offers a 1/10,000 high resolution for applications requiring enhanced resolution. Both models offer sophisticated features such as the comparator function that shows HI/OK/LO on the display, setpoint control for simple batching, counting and % functions, standard RS232, tilting meterhead, stainless steel weighing pan and sealed base for water/dust resistance and water/dust resistant protection for the load cell sensor using the Gore-tex membrane that wicks moisture away. Both models also offer two types of displays: the standard LCD or VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) that is easy to see even in dark areas.
